From Holland Tunnel
After exiting Holland Tunnel in Jersey City continue straight. (This is 12th Street) Follow sign that reads Rte. 1 & 9. Proceed up ramp, stay to the right. Look for and follow signs for Kennedy Boulevard.(This is Rte. 139) Continue on Rte. 139 to Central Avenue. Turn right onto Central Avenue. Follow Central Avenue to Bowers Street. Turn left onto Bowers Street. Abundant Joy is in the first church on the left from Central Avenue.
From New Jersey Turnpike
Take New Jersey Turnpike to exit 15E. After paying toll follow signs to Jersey City. Proceed across Newark Bay extension bridges. After crossing the second extension bridge stay to the right, proceed straight onto Communipaw Avenue. Follow Communipaw Avenue to Kennedy Boulevard. Turn left onto Kennedy Boulevard. Follow Kennedy Boulevard to Bowers Street (You will travel through Journal Square) Turn right onto Bowers Street. Proceed two blocks (You will cross Summit Avenue). The second church on the right is Abundant Joy.
From Routes 1 & 9
Take local lanes of Route 1 & 9 and follow signs to Jersey City. Proceed across Newark Bay extension bridges. After crossing the second extension bridge stay to the right, proceed straight onto Communipaw Avenue. Follow Communipaw Avenue to Kennedy Boulevard. Turn left onto Kennedy Boulevard. Follow Kennedy Boulevard to Bowers Street (You will travel through Journal Square) Turn right onto Bowers Street. Proceed two blocks (You will cross Summit Avenue). Public Transportation from Journal Square in Jersey City
Take the Central Avenue bus from platform D. This bus travels along Central Avenue. Exit the bus at the Bowers Street stop. Cross Bowers Street and walk down Bowers Street to the Church, which is located on the left at 137 Bowers Street. Abundant Joy is in the first church on the left from Central Avenue.
