ONE CHURCH ONE VISION
Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it. For there is a vision for the appointed time. Habakkuk 2:2b-3a
God gave us a mission, a code of conduct, a structure, principles, rich resources and a strong leader. Our Senior Pastor is a leader with a vision to improve the quality of life for God's people. God expects us to follow our Senior Pastor as he leads us into our Promised Land.
It is Our Vision to Create a congregation; whereby, excellence
is the standard. We
seek to create an environment where we can discover how to nurture relationships
through our commitment to listen, learn, offer service, provide pastoral
care, understanding and love as Jesus loved us.
It Is Our Vision To Grow into a healthy church family -- loving,
learning, laughing and living in harmony. We seek to be a family where intimacy is encouraged through our willingness to be vulnerable, committed
and worthy of each other's trust.
It Is Our Vision To Embrace an interracial, cross-cultural church, where all races worship together in harmony. It is going to be beautiful as God intended. It Is Our Vision To Develop people to spiritual maturity through
worship, Bible study, pastoral care, prayer, seminars, cultural enrichment,
retreats and personal or family counseling. It is our vision that our members
will spend daily time with God, attend Sunday School, tithe regularly,
participate in a small group ministry, live holy and grow. We will help
each other to succeed through love, prayer, mutual support, care, encouragement
and accountability.
It Is Our Vision To Equip every believer for a significant ministry
by helping each person to discover and use the gifts God gave to him or
her. We believe service is not an option. It is our duty. "Faith without works is dead." Thus, it is our vision to equip our members to be
agents of healing and change.
It Is Our Vision To Rid ourselves of economic slavery by developing
strong independent businesses. We seek to learn/teach how to create wealth
financial security.
It Is Our Vision To Build an intimate, loving church -- with
beautiful, facilities, including a worship center, classrooms, rehearsal
studio, computer lab, Christian counseling clinic, personal enrichment
center, bookstore and restaurant. It is our vision is to create a safe
environment where people can give and receive the care they need. We want
angels, strangers, visitors, and our members to feel at home. We seek to
be a Shalom zone.
We believe the only way our Vision can succeed is through our
surrender to God, the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. We
will walk by faith and not by sight! "For without faith it is impossible
to please Him."
